Atom's investment process aims to maximise the focus of Australian based staff on company contact whilst still having the neccessary financial modeling of stocks in the background.

Atom's team of equity analysts, refered to as "the Equity Research Hub" or "ERH" is based in Bangalore in the south of India.

Bangalore is known as the 'Silicon Valley' of India and is the base of many Business Knowledge Out-sourcing (BKO) operations from software to financial services. With a population of 8 million, high-quality professional labour is abundant. 

Bangalore provides Atom an opportunity to have more analytical staff than a purely Australian based operation.  A time difference of around five hours is advantageous as it offers both real-time collaboration opportunities and the ability to respond to urgent requests from the Sydney Office overnight.

Here a team of dedicated equity analysts, led by the Deputy Head of Equity Research, provides equity research services to Atom's Australian fund managers.
